When researching into sustainability branding is really important into correctly displaying a brands manifesto to attract the correct customers. There are many ways to go about this as an individual and as a company. Looking into how this is possible.

Individual brands such as @meredithcerys has managed to create a business based on sustainability and slow fashion. The branding used almost instantly reflects her sustainability focus. With it included in her bio 'Lets SLOW down FAST fashion'.
Her aesthetic is rural and therefore instantly relates to responsible practise, highlighting her design practise of made to order production as an individual designer.

FANFARE is a larger fashion house focussed on circularity. With their social media being easily accessible and having a highlight page focussed on their sustainability and material focus. In addition to this, when accessing the brands webpage the instant label attached is related to their circularity, highlighting its importance to the brand and simply explaining their companies methods, with their lifetime guarantee where items can be recycled returned and repurposed as part of their motto.

Molly O'Halloran's sustainability focus is not as clear and succinct. It is made aware that she is an individual designer but her focus on made to wear seems to be more notably due to her supply chain and speed of making. With her sustainability being difficult to access and look into, to improve her marketing would be useful in order for sustainable focused purchasers to find her profile more easily.

Asket is a brand I have previously discovered through my research into sustainabiltiy and green washing. It is a Swedish company looking to eventually free the world of fast consumption, with their design focussing on longevity. 'The pursuit of less' is a tag line that can be found on the website almost instantly, and therefore is a successful use of branding in relation to sustainability.

The founders of Sheep Inc. created the company to show that there is a new way to produce fashion and that clothing can be a part of the solution rather than the problem. When you purchase your jumper, you are given a real sheep from the same New Zealand farm that produces the wool for your jumper. Each jumper has a digital NFC tag, and you will receive regular updates on the health of your sheep. The companies ethos is readily found on their social media and website, and is a great example of sustainability focussed design.
